Every heroine belongs to one of four primary classes: Warrior, Mage, Healer, and Support. Within those classes are sub-roles that define their position on the battlefield.

Warrior — front-line damage soak with high HP and armor (Elena)
Mage — back-line area damage with elemental scaling (Rose)
Healer — sustain and cleanse, fragile and back-row (Luna)
Support — buffer/debuffer that amplifies the rest of the team (Sister Claire)
